A.G. Edwards needed to respond to a competitive threat from online brokerage services. Working closely with usability and business process consultants, Indermaur reviewed business and technical requirements, proposing a system architecture for new broker and customer Web services. The new systems strengthen broker-client relationships with online collaboration, while maintaining their existing strong security and SEC compliance measures. By migrating to Web-based applications, A.G. Edwards is also able to significantly reduce costs for custom application development, deployment and maintenance.

American Family Insurance needed to reduce its policy management costs. Indermaur led a team through the evaluation of a proposed new policy management system, and mentored client technical leads in rapid development processes to begin implementation.

Best Buy was developing a new "clicks and mortar" online strategy. Indermaur gave their plans a quick review and recommendations to help meet a challenging schedule. At DraftWorldwide, part of The Interpublic Group of companies, Indermaur investigated the potential for integrated customer relationship management systems for their clients - combining telephone, e-mail, online chat and Web self-service. Our consultants designed business processes and system architectures. And we evaluated competition, partners, software and hardware vendors to develop viable business models for deploying such systems.

Indermaur assisted HSBC Group in the worldwide roll-out of a new online financial infrastructure. We provided project planning, scheduling, staffing and technical design to help coordinate efforts across geographies. We trained project managers and technical staff to deploy, manage and develop applications for the new system. Finally, Indermaur facilitated strategy discussions for wireless and other new platforms.

At IBM, Indermaur created processes and tools to help manage large software development projects distributed across many locations. We critiqued software designs and proposed improvements, and conducted competitive and customer research to help guide technical sales and product development efforts.
In IBM data centers we developed processes to streamline training and new service deployment, and helped new groups maintain ISO 9000 certification as they joined the data center support organization.

Indermaur helped devise, develop and deploy Intuit's first Web strategy, then expand it to include services across the entire company. These services now bring in close to $300 million annually, or nearly 30 percent of Intuit's total revenue. Our work included systems architecture, software development, vendor evaluations, staff training and more - everything they needed to become one of the most popular destinations on the Web. Indermaur also designed the electronic tax filing systems now used to file 30 million tax returns annually - over 1 million in a peak day.

Indermaur helped Lands' End bring their Web site into the mainstream of their business. Together, we developed new organizations, business processes and system designs.
